Membership in Broward HealthCare Federal Credit Union is open to anyone who works in the medical field in Broward County and their immediate family members.

Originally chartered in 1957, Broward HealthCare Federal Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial cooperative that is owned by you, our members. As a member/owner, your minimum balance in your share (savings) account is your share in your credit union and in our earnings.

All earnings/profits of your credit union are returned to you in the form of higher dividends and low cost loans. You have a voice in everything we do. Each year at the annual meeting, members vote to fill positions on the voluntary Board of Directors. Acting as representatives of the total membership, it is your Board of Directors that governs the activities of your credit union and sets its policies and guidelines.
