In order to become a member of Camino Federal Credit Union, you must be a member of one of the following:

• Employees of Montebello Unified School District
• Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District
• ABC Unified School District
• Cerritos Community College
• Barbara Dawson Educational Center
• Members of the Montebello PTA
• Other preferred employee groups
• Members of the Camino area community, call to see how you can qualify for membership

Camino Federal Credit Union is a member-owned financial cooperative serving employees of the school districts in the areas we are located, as well as select community groups. These include Montebello Unified School District, Norwalk-La Mirada School District, ABC Unified School District, Cerritos Community College, and Barbara Dawson Educational Center and their family members.

We were chartered in 1941 as Montebello Schools Federal Credit Union to provide district employees with a low-cost alternative to banks that would be more responsive to their needs.

In 2005, we changed our name to Camino Federal Credit Union. In 2009, we grew to two full-service branches; our main branch in Montebello, CA and a second branch in Norwalk, CA.
