Carolina Foothills Federal Credit Union

Membership at Carolina Foothills begins with just $30 deposited into a share savings account. This share secures equal ownership for all members of the credit union. You are eligible to join if you can answer yes to any of the following:

• You are a civilian employee of the US Government who works in Spartanburg or Greenville County.
• You work for the United States Postal Service.
• You work for or are retired from one of our partner companies.  If you're unsure if your employer is one of our partner companies Contact us .
• You live, go to school, work, worship or volunteer in one of our designated communities in Spartanburg, Greenville or Cherokee Counties.  Contact us to find out what communities are in your area.
• You are related to someone who is currently a member or who is currently eligible to become a member.  Qualified relatives eligible to join are: spouse, mother, father, sister, brother, child, grandparent, grandchild, and step-relations.
• You reside in a household (making up a single economic unit) with someone who is currently a member or who is currently eligible to become a member.

If you are not currently eligible to join Carolina Foothills based on the criteria above, let us know. We will need to find out where you are employed and a contact within your company. We'll also need your help. Simply tell the contact at your job how important credit union membership is and how you would like to become a part of Carolina Foothills.

In 1960, a group of US Postal Service employees met together and formed the beginning of Carolina Foothills Federal Credit Union. Since our humble beginnings, Carolina Foothills has grown to our present size of over 90 partner companies and three distinct service communities located throughout the Upstate. With almost 9,000 members who have more than $47 million in assets, we serve members through branches in Spartanburg, Greenville and Gaffney.  In addition, technologies, like the internet and telephone, allow members to transact business with their credit union no matter where they're located.

We hold to the values of the credit union movement by offering products and services that meet our members' needs.
