Membership in Coastal Federal Credit Union is open to:

• Employees of IBM or its wholly owned subsidiaries who are reporting to a facility in the states of North Carolina, South Carolina or Virginia (except Loudoun, Prince Williams or Fairfax Counties, Virginia).
• Persons retired as pensioners or annuitants from the above employment (provided their primary residence is within the field of membership).
• Spouses of persons who died within our field of membership (as long as they have not remarried).
• Persons who live, work, worship, attend school in, and businesses and other legal entities located in census tracts 302, 303, and 304 in Lee County, North Carolina (Sanford, NC).
• Employees and persons retired as pensioners or annuitants from one of the Select Employee Groups we cover. See website for more details.
