To be eligible for membership in the Credit Union you must be an individual or entity qualifying within the Credit Union field of membership and must purchase and maintain at least one (1) share (the membership share) as required by the Credit Union’s Bylaws. You authorize us to check your account, credit and employment history and obtain a credit report from third parties, including credit reporting agencies to verify eligibility for the accounts and services you request.

Did you know that Colorado United was originally, and still is, Adams County School District 50's credit union? School District 50 Credit Union was founded in 1952 by Iver C. Ranum and John E. Flynn in order to serve teachers in the district. Their goal was to create a financial institution that allowed teachers a safe and sound institution to save and borrow at reasonable and affordable rates. After 50 years, our name has changed, but that philosophy still holds true.
