Community Financial Credit Union

To become a member, you must fall within one of the four following categories of eligibility:

• Individuals and families who live in the communities of Broomfield, and portions of Superior, Westminster, Louisville and Lafayette
• Family members of a current Community Financial Credit Union member
• Individuals who work for one of our Corporate Community Partners
• Members of Consumers United Association. Community Financial Credit Union is affiliated with this non-profit consumer advocacy group. Members of CUA are automatically eligible to join Community Financial Credit Union. A Financial Specialist can help you join CUA.

You have a choice when it comes to financial institutions. Our products and services may be the same as the bank or credit union down the street, but we think our Vision helps us to stand out from the rest.

Community Financial Credit Union will be a true cooperative, providing superior economic value and sound financial consultation to our members while rewarding our most loyal members for their commitment to the cooperative.

“Cooperative” is an important word in our Vision Statement. At credit unions, no one person or organization runs or owns the Credit Union. Each member is an owner working toward a common goal. The Credit Union isn’t successful, if you are not financially successful. By providing superior economic value and sound financial advice, we create a better member experience and stronger financial stability for the Credit Union.

As our vision states, Community Financial Credit Union rewards those who are committed to the cooperative through Relationship Rewards. This program is our way of saying “thanks” to our most loyal members. A component of the Relationship Rewards program is the Member Bonus. For the last three years, the Credit Union has returned more than $800,000 to its members in the Member Bonus program.

Community Financial Credit Union is proud of its history in the community. The Credit Union was originally chartered more than 50 years ago to serve the employees at the Rocky Flats Environmental Technology Site. Over the years, membership has grown to include individuals and their family members who live or work in Broomfield and other surrounding communities.
