Who Are Our Members?
Des Moines Police Officers' Credit Union welcomes employees, volunteers and retired personnel of municipal, county, State of Iowa and United States governmental public safety agencies located within the State of Iowa that enforce laws, rules and ordinances or protect life and property from fire and injury. Membership is also open to the immediate family members of these qualifying members.
These agencies include:
Municipal police and fire departments, emergency medical service agencies, employees of the Iowa Department of Public Safety, Iowa Department of Natural Resources, Iowa Office of Motor Vehicle Enforcement, and Iowa Department of Public Defense, and also employees of the United States Department of Justice, United States Department of Homeland Security, United States Postal Inspection Service as well as municipal, county, state and federal prosecuting attorneys and judges within the state of Iowa: and Iowa Correctional Services including the Iowa Judicial Branch.
