Governmental Employees Credit Union

The first step to joining Governmental Employees Credit Union is opening a Share (savings) Account. We will need a $5.00 deposit. This deposit is your share in the credit union. It provides you with the privilege of voting for your Board of Directors and to participate in the variety of services available. Deposits can be made anytime in person, by mail, payroll deduction or direct deposit. Withdrawals can be made anytime unless pledged as collateral on a loan.

For the better part of the century, G.E.C.U. has been making each and everyone of its members feel like they count, which in fact they do, as members at G.E.C.U. are also part owners. There has always been and always will be a staff of friendly, helpful people at G.E.C.U. who get to know you by your name. These are the same people who are there to assist members—and the community itself—in everything from home mortgages to car loans to online banking to day-to-day financial services.
