The POLICE Federal Credit Union of Omaha was originally chartered in 1958 to provide the Omaha Police Department with much needed financial resources. As the credit union grew, more groups were added to our field of membership. However, our original focus was law enforcement and, being true to our roots, we now have a “Police Protection Industry” charter which encompasses the counties of Douglas, Sarpy, Cass, Washington, Saunders, Lancaster and Dodge in Nebraska, as well as Pottawattamie County in Iowa.
