About Oregon Employees Federal Credit Union
Oregon Employees Federal Credit Union was chartered May 6, 1964. Since there was already a state chartered credit union for State of Oregon employees, Oregon Employees was chartered with a Federal charter. This simply means we are regulated by the National Credit Union Administration.
The original charter allowed membership to state employees who worked in Marion, Linn, Polk and Yamhill Counties and their family members. The founding members contributed about $40,000 and the potential membership was approximately 3,000 people.
