About Parish Federal Credit Union
Parish Federal Credit Union was founded in 1938 by a small group of St. Agnes parishioners who wanted to help each other save and borrow. In the roughly 70 years that have followed, our goals have not changed. We remain a faith based financial cooperative that exists solely for the benefit of its members. During these 70 years of operation, three small credit unions have united together to better serve their members. The current Parish Federal Credit Union is the result of these mergers.
Parish Federal Credit Union now has assets of over $10 million dollars and a membership of 2100 individuals. Members' savings are at $9 million and members' loans are at $6 million. In 2007, members earned $237,000 in dividends and loan rebates of $11,500.
As we have grown and developed new services, we continue to provide confidential, personal attention to each of our members, helping each member to make the wisest use of his or her finances.
