About Westminster Federal Credit Union
Westminster FCU was founded in 1960 by 12 Westminster Volunteer Fireman. The 'office' was a drawer in the secretaries desk of the city manager. The credit union started off only taking deposits and then as the assets built up they started offering loans to the members. Soon the police, parks and the rest of the city of Westminster joined the credit union. Additionally, Foothills Community Church was added as a SEG. WFCU has had several offices and has resided at it current location since 2001. The credit union is now a full service financial institution, offering everything from checking to mortgages, with two locations.
Our most recently added service is the addition of Shared Branching. This latest service allows members to conduct their financial transactions at over 2300 US and international locations.
